The 2012 WJAZ fund drive is now
over with all goals met after only three days.
The station raised all together
$55,000 from on air pledges. The station will also be able to purchase a new
emergency generator to replace the one that was damaged by severe weather.
Regular programming will begin
immediately with no interruptions. The fund drive may be over but anyone
wishing to contribute can still do the same by calling or visiting the stations
website.
“We wouldn’t have been able to make
this possible without the contribution of our fans and supporters,” said WJAZ
director Jarvis Ewing.
WJAZ would like to thank everyone
who contributed to the stations success.
